  • Loofah

    Loofah is a climbing plant from the cucumber family, and the sponge comes from its dried fruit. Unlike imported loofahs from overseas, this sponge comes from a controlled local cultivation process in Germany—grown sustainably, sun-dried, and hand-finished without additives.

    The result is a naturally fibrous sponge that’s gentle, long-lasting, and fully compostable. Perfect for conscious grooming with zero plastic, zero waste, and maximum horse comfort.

  • FSC certified beech wood

    Cappall only uses FSC certified beech wood for its horse brushes 🪵 This means that the wood for the brushes comes from sustainably managed forests. Beech wood is a very strong and durable wood and is therefore well suited for everyday use in the stable.

  • Arega

    Arega is a pure natural bristle obtained from the Palmyra palm tree 🌴 This palm species is native to India. Arega is very resistant and has a dark colour. Its firm hardness makes it ideal for cleaning heavy encrustations and is used as the brush in our hoof pick.

  • Union

    Union is a mixture of Fibre and Tampico. Tampico is a fibre obtained from the leaf rosette of the agave and originates from Mexico 🌵 Union bristles are slightly firmer than pure fibre bristles and have a grey-beige colour. Union is suitable for cleaning persistent soiling and ideal for removing mud from legs and hooves.

  • Fibre

    Fibre is a natural bristle obtained from the agave plant 🌵 This plant is mainly cultivated in Mexico. This natural bristle is hard and resistant, but not as stiff as other bristles. Its colour is beige to yellowish. Fibre is ideal for general horse grooming as well as removing dirt such as dried sweat.

The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an internationally recognised organisation that is committed to the sustainable management of forests worldwide. The FSC certificate guarantees that the wood used to manufacture products comes from responsibly managed forests. It ensures that forest management is ecologically, socially and economically sustainable.

What materials do you use?

Our FSC® certified wooden brushes are made with natural bristles. We do not use animal hair, but plant-based materials such as fibre, union or arega.

Is there free shipping?

Shipping is free from a purchase value of 60 Euro.

How long does the delivery of the horse brushes take?

Germany and Denmark: within 2–4 days

Deliveries abroad: within 2–8 days

Please note that there is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays.
